Asmaa Mohamed
Collage, Mixed Media, Digital Art and Photography
My work explores identity, cultural heritage, and the shared experiences that connect us. Through mixed media, collage, and digital art, I blend personal narratives with collective histories to create immersive, emotionally resonant pieces.
Using abstraction, found objects, and hand-drawn elements, I invite viewers to reflect on themes of healing, transformation, and self-expression. At its core, my practice is rooted in storytelling—as a way to foster connection, spark dialogue, and celebrate community.

Asmaa Mohamed is a visual artist whose creative practice explores themes of identity, healing, and cultural storytelling. Working across collage, digital art, and mixed media, she merges abstraction with her cultural background—incorporating fluid forms, vibrant palettes, and intricate hand-drawn elements to express transformation and self-expression.
Her work bridges cultural heritage and contemporary aesthetics, making it both deeply personal and accessible to diverse audiences. Committed to fostering engagement through art, she uses her practice to encourage introspection and dialogue.
Asmaa’s portfolio includes mixed media, photography, and graphic design. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Art and Design from the University of North Texas in Denton. Currently, she is involved in Colorwaave004—a collective driven by a shared passion for art and creating meaningful experiences for the LGBTQ+ community. In her role, she serves as a creative director and designer for both a magazine and a zine, overseeing print production.
Through this project and her broader practice, Asmaa continues to draw inspiration from creativity and community engagement.
